Luk 20:34-36 | MHM | STEP | v. 34–36 : Jesus explained that life after the resurrection is very different from life on earth. In this world, people marry and have families, but in the world to come, those who are worthy of the resurrection will not marry. They cannot die anymore, and they will be like the angels. They are called children of God and children of the resurrection (Romans 8:23; 1 John 3:2 ). In heaven, people will be holy and happy, and there will be no need for marriage or families to continue the human race.
