The way Jesus responded teaches us about his compassion, power, and the right way to respond when God helps us. v. 12 : In a certain city, a man who was “full of leprosy” came to Jesus (Luke 5:12 ). The man humbled himself, falling on his face before Jesus, and begged, Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean. This shows us that when we feel the weight of our sin or problems, we should come to Jesus, admit our need, and trust that he is able to help us.
