Mar 1:11 | MHM | STEP | v. 11 : Jesus heard a voice from heaven saying, “Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Mark 1:11 ). God the Father spoke to encourage Jesus as he began his mission. Even though Jesus humbled himself, God still loved him and was pleased with his choice to obey. Because of Jesus, God is also pleased with us when we trust in him.
