Mark 1:24
v. 24: The unclean spirit cried out loudly when he saw Jesus, saying, “Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.” (Mark 1:24 a). The demon knew Jesus was stronger than him and was afraid. He tried to bring up where Jesus was from, hoping to make people think little of him. But at the same time, the demon was forced to admit that Jesus is the Holy One of God. This shows that even evil spirits know who Jesus truly is, but they do not trust or love him.
