Mar 1:7-8 | MHM | STEP | v. 7-8 : John preached that someone greater was coming after him. He said, “There comes one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose. I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost” (Mark 1:7-8 ). John taught that Jesus had greater power than he did. Jesus would give the Holy Spirit to those who believed, purifying and strengthening them.
