Mark 2:21-22
v. 21-22: Jesus used two examples to teach about new and old ways. He said you do not sew a new patch on an old garment, or put new wine into old wineskins. If you do, both will be ruined. In the same way, Jesus’ disciples were not ready for strict religious practices yet. God is gentle with new believers and does not give them more than they can handle. We should also be patient with those who are new in faith (Mark 2:21-22 a). –
