Mar 3:33-35 | MHM | STEP | v. 33-35 : When Jesus was told that his family was looking for him, he looked at the people sitting around him and said, “Who is my mother, or my brethren?” Then he said, “Whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother” (Mark 3:33-35 ). Jesus honored those who listened to God and obeyed him, calling them his true family. This teaches us to value spiritual relationships and to be doers of God’s will if we want to be close to Jesus (Judges 8:18-19 ).
