Mark 4:30-32
v. 30-32: Jesus said the kingdom of God is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of seeds but grows into the largest of garden plants, with branches big enough for birds to nest in (Mark 4:30-32 a). This illustrates how the gospel starts small but grows into something great. The church began with a small group of disciples but has spread to nations around the world. Similarly, the work of grace in a person’s heart may start small but leads to great spiritual maturity (John 12:24 b). – –
