Mar 9:43-47 | MHM | STEP | v. 43–47 : Jesus warned his followers about the seriousness of sin and the need to remove anything that causes them to sin, even if it feels like losing a part of themselves. He said, If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off , and similarly for the foot or eye. It is better to enter life maimed than to be whole and thrown into hell (Mark 9:43-47 ). This does not mean physically harming ourselves, but rather removing anything in our lives that leads us to sin, no matter how painful or difficult it may be.
