Mat 18:31-34 | MHM | STEP | v. 31–34 : When the other servants saw what happened, they were very upset and told the king. The king called the first servant and said, “You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. Should you not also have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?” The king was angry and handed him over to be punished until he paid all he owed (Matthew 18:31-34 ). Jesus teaches that God expects us to show the same mercy to others that he has shown to us.
