Mat 9:5-6 | MHM | STEP | v. 5–6 : Jesus continued, Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’? But so that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins... He then said to the paralyzed man, Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house (Matthew 9:5-6 ). Jesus proved he had authority to forgive sins by healing the man’s body. His miracles showed that he truly came from God and had the power to save people from their sins (John 5:22,27 ).
