Phili 1:20 | MHM | STEP | v. 20 : Paul’s greatest hope is that Christ will be honored in his life, whether he lives or dies. He wants to be bold and never ashamed of his faith. Paul’s desire is that Christ will be magnified in his body, no matter what happens (Philippians 1:20 ). He is willing to serve Jesus in life or in death, just as Jesus prayed, Father, glorify thy name (John 12:28 ). Paul teaches us to live for God’s glory above all else (Romans 12:1; Romans 6:13 ).
