Philippians 2:15
v. 15: Paul wants them to be “blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation” (Philippians 2:15 a). This means they should live so well that even critics cannot find fault with them. As God’s children, they must be different from those around them. Paul says that Christians should “shine as lights in the world,” showing the love and truth of Jesus in a dark world (Matthew 5:16 b; 3 John 12).
