‏ Philippians 3:3

v. 3: Paul describes true Christians as those who are the “real circumcision” because they are spiritually set apart for God. He gives three characteristics of true believers: they worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh (Philippians 3:3 a). - To worship God in the Spirit means focusing on inward devotion rather than outward rituals. True worship comes from the heart and is guided by the Holy Spirit (John 4:24; 2 Corinthians 3:8 b). - To rejoice in Christ Jesus means finding joy in our relationship with Jesus, not in religious ceremonies or traditions. - To have no confidence in the flesh means trusting fully in Jesus for salvation, rather than depending on our own efforts or outward religious practices.
