Generosity also brings joy and a good reputation, which can lead to more success. On the other hand, some people lose what they have by being too careful and refusing to share. If they withhold more than is right , they end up with less, because God does not bless selfishness. Even if they save a lot, God can make it disappear, as the prophet said, You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it (Haggai 1:6, 9 ). So, being generous is the better way.
