Proverbs 13:16
Wisdom in Acting with KnowledgeThis section focuses on the difference between wise and foolish behavior. It highlights how a wise person thinks carefully before acting, while a foolish person acts without understanding and ends up embarrassed.v. 16: It is wise to be careful and thoughtful in everything we do. Every prudent man acts with knowledge . A wise person thinks things through, gets advice from others, and avoids getting involved in matters they do not understand. They do not start new things without first learning about them, and they do not trust people they know nothing about. Instead, they always try to learn more, so they can make better decisions. On the other hand, a foolish person is quick to speak and act without thinking. They often try things they are not ready for, and so lays open his folly (Proverbs 13:16 a). Their lack of preparation is obvious to everyone, and they may fail, just like someone who began to build and was not able to finish (Luke 14:30 b).
