As the saying goes, “Many eyes see more than one.” This means that more people together can see and solve problems better. On the other hand, in the multitude of counsellors purposes are established (Proverbs 15:22 ). If we listen to wise and honest friends, our plans are more likely to succeed. But we must be careful to choose good advisers, not just many advisers, as Solomon’s son learned when he listened to the wrong people (1 Kings 12:8 ).
