Pro 3:3 | MHM | STEP | v. 3–4 : We should also hold on to God’s promises of mercy and truth. Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart (Proverbs 3:3 ). When we live by God’s mercy and truth, we will find favor with both God and people. So you will find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man (Proverbs 3:4 ). This brings honor and success, just as Jesus grew in favor with God and people (Luke 2:52 ).
