v. 5: In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course (Psalm 19:4-5 ^b). The sun rises each day with brightness and joy, like a bridegroom who is happy on his wedding day, or a strong runner ready for a race (John 3:29 ^c).
