Psalms 37:39
v. 39–40: David concludes with a promise of salvation for the righteous. He says, The salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble (Psalm 37:39 a). God helps and delivers those who trust in Him. He saves them from the wicked and blesses them because they have placed their confidence in Him (Psalm 37:40 b).David’s final words remind us that trusting in God and living righteously are always worth it. While the wicked may seem to prosper for a time, their end is destruction. However, those who follow God will find peace, protection, and eternal salvation. God is faithful to His promises, and He will not forsake those who trust in Him.
