Psalms 57:11
v. 11: David ends with the same words he used earlier: Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth (Psalm 57:11 a). He asks God to make His name great everywhere. Even though people try to praise God, only God Himself can truly exalt His name as it deserves (Nehemiah 9:5 b). David is saying, “Father, glorify your own name.” He wants God’s glory to be seen in heaven and on earth, now and always.
