Psalms 62:10
v. 10: He also cautions against trusting in wealth. Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them . Riches, whether gained honestly or dishonestly, cannot provide true security. Even if wealth grows, we must not let it capture our hearts or become our source of confidence. Wealth is temporary and cannot replace God as our ultimate refuge (Luke 12:19 a).
