Psa 68:5 | MHM | STEP | v. 5–6 : God is also kind and merciful. He is a father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows . He cares deeply for people who have lost their families or feel alone. If someone does not have a father or is a widow, God will look after them and provide what they need (Jeremiah 49:11; Hosea 14:3 ). God can also bring lonely people into families and give them a place to belong (Psalm 113:9 ). He uses His great power to help the weak and to build up families, giving people a home and hope.
