Psa 74:13-14 | MHM | STEP | v. 13–14 : He continues, Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength… thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters. Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness (Psalm 74:13–14 ). This recalls how God saved Israel by parting the Red Sea and defeating Pharaoh and the Egyptians, who are compared to powerful sea creatures. God’s victory gave strength and hope to His people.
