Psa 8:6 | MHM | STEP | v. 6 : God has made humans rulers over the earth: “You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” . This means humans are entrusted with the care of animals, plants, and the earth itself (Genesis 1:28; Genesis 9:2 ). Even though some animals are stronger or faster, humans have learned to tame and use them (James 3:7 ). God permits people to use animals for food and work (Acts 10:13 ), but this responsibility reminds us that we are to obey God, who is our true Lord.
