Psalms 94:3
v. 3–6: The writer asks God, Lord, how long shall the wicked triumph? (Psalm 94:3 a). He describes the enemies as wicked people who do evil and hate the righteous. These oppressors are proud and boast about what they do. They attack God’s people, break them in pieces, and try to destroy them. Worst of all, they hurt those who are most helpless, like widows, strangers, and orphans (Psalm 94:6 b). The psalmist pleads with God to defend His own people, His heritage, and not allow the wicked to continue their cruelty.
