Psalms 95:3-5
v. 3–5: The reason for praise is given: For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land (Psalm 95:3–5 a). God is greater than anyone or anything else. He rules over all the earth, and everything belongs to Him, from the deepest valleys to the highest mountains, from the sea to the dry land. Because He made everything, He owns everything. This also connects to Jesus, who is called the Creator of all things (John 1:3; Colossians 1:16, 20 b). – –
