‏ Titus 3:3

v. 3: Paul reminds them that “we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another” (Titus 3:3 a). He wants Christians to remember that before they believed in Jesus, they too made many mistakes and lived selfishly. This should make them humble and patient with others who are still struggling.
