1 Kings 21:15-16
– v. 16: Ahab took possession of Naboth’s vineyard, acting as if nothing was wrong. Even though he was king, he allowed and benefited from a terrible crime. This shows that power can make people blind to justice and right. But God saw everything, and would soon bring judgment (Habakkuk 1:13 a).
