2 Chronicles 5:13
v. 13: When the trumpeters and singers made music as one, praising and thanking the Lord, the house was filled with a cloud. They sang, “He is good; his mercy endures forever” (Psalm 136:1 a). God’s glory appeared not when they offered sacrifices, but when they praised him. God is pleased with the sacrifice of praise even more than with animal offerings (Psalm 69:31 b). God’s goodness is his glory, and he wants us to praise him for it.
