They sang, “He is good; his mercy endures forever” (Psalm 136:1 ). God’s glory appeared not when they offered sacrifices, but when they praised him. God is pleased with the sacrifice of praise even more than with animal offerings (Psalm 69:31 ). God’s goodness is his glory, and he wants us to praise him for it.
