It is hard for you to kick against the goads.” Paul asked, “Who are you, Lord?” and the voice replied, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.” This moment revealed to Paul that persecuting Christians was, in fact, persecuting Jesus himself. Jesus showed that he was alive and exalted, speaking from heaven.
