Col 1:5 | MHM | STEP | v. 5 : Paul also gives thanks for the hope they have—a hope stored up for them in heaven. This hope is the promise of eternal life and future glory. Paul calls it the hope which is laid up for you in heaven (Colossians 1:5 ). This hope motivates Christians to do good and to be generous, because they are looking forward to something even better in the next life, as it says, looking for the blessed hope (Titus 2:13 ).
