Exo 15:26 | MHM | STEP | v. 26 : God told them if they listened carefully to His voice and obeyed His commands, He would protect them from the diseases He sent on the Egyptians. He said, “I am the Lord who heals you.” God wanted them to know that even though He had delivered them from Egypt, they still needed to follow Him. If they disobeyed, they could face the same troubles as the Egyptians (Deuteronomy 28:60 ). But if they obeyed, God promised to keep them safe and healthy. God is the great healer and the one who gives us life (Psalms 116:16; Luke 1:74-75 ).
