Genesis 30:28-30
v. 28-30: Laban offered to pay Jacob whatever he asked. Jacob reminded Laban that he had worked very hard and that Laban's wealth had grown a lot since Jacob arrived. Still, Jacob did not ask for money. Instead, he said it was time for him to provide for his own family as well (Genesis 30:28-30; 1 Timothy 5:8 a). It is important to work for your family’s needs, even if you trust God to help you. – –
