‏ Genesis 30:34-36

v. 34-36: Laban agreed, but immediately separated the speckled and brown animals from the rest and gave them to his sons, putting three days’ distance between those and Jacob’s new flock. Laban did this to try to make sure Jacob would not get many animals. Even though Laban was tricky, Jacob trusted God to take care of him (Genesis 30:34-36 a). God often rewards people who are honest and work hard, even when others act unfairly.
