Joseph explained that only God can interpret dreams and invited them to share their dreams with him. Joseph wanted them to know about the God he served, who knows the future (Isaiah 46:10 ). Like Daniel later (Daniel 2:30 ), Joseph gave the glory to God, not to himself.
