Hebrews 10:19-20
The Consecrated Way; Cautions against Apostasy; Perseverance Inculcated This section highlights the special privileges believers have through Jesus Christ and explains how these privileges should lead Christians to approach God with confidence, maintain their faith, encourage each other, and watch out for the dangers of falling away from the faith. The writer urges believers to stay strong, help one another, and remember the seriousness of turning away from Christ. v. 19–21: Christians now have boldness to enter the holiest place—the very presence of God—because of the blood of Jesus. Jesus has opened a new and living way for us through his body, which was given as a sacrifice. He is also the great high priest over the house of God. We are invited to come to God freely, not held back by fear, because Jesus’ sacrifice has made us welcome before God. –
