‏ Hebrews 13:11-13

v. 11–12: He explains, “For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate” (Hebrews 13:11–12 a). In the Old Testament, animal sacrifices were burned outside the camp; in the same way, Jesus suffered outside the city to make people holy through His blood.

v. 13: The writer encourages, “Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach” (Hebrews 13:13 b). Christians should be willing to suffer shame and leave behind old ways for Jesus, just as He suffered for them.
