Heb 4:14 | MHM | STEP | v. 14 : We learn about the greatness of Christ as our High Priest. Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession (Hebrews 4:14 ). Jesus is far greater than any Old Testament priest. He has gone into heaven for us, to represent us before God. He is not only great, but also gracious and merciful. Because of this, we must hold tightly to our faith and never give up or be ashamed of Jesus, no matter what happens.
