Heb 8:10 | MHM | STEP | v. 10 : God promises in the new covenant to put his laws into his people’s minds and write them on their hearts. This means God will help people understand, remember, and love his laws. They will want to do what God asks, not just follow rules. This change in the heart is the foundation of the new covenant (Hebrews 8:10 ). God also promises, I will be their God, and they shall be my people . God will do everything for them that a true God can do. The people will love and obey God in return, and God will give them the strength to do so.
