Heb 8:2 | MHM | STEP | v. 2 : Jesus serves in the true tabernacle, the real sanctuary in heaven, not one made by humans. The old tabernacle had an outer part for sacrifices (pointing to Christ’s death) and an inner part behind the veil (pointing to Christ’s work in heaven). Jesus did not serve in the earthly tabernacle, but after finishing his sacrifice on earth, he now serves as our High Priest in heaven, interceding for us and ensuring our prayers and lives are accepted by God because of his sacrifice.
