Isa 29:5 | MHM | STEP | v. 5-6 : God promises to deal with Jerusalem’s enemies. Although the Assyrians will threaten the city, they will be defeated. The multitude of thy strangers shall be like small dust , scattered and powerless (Isaiah 29:5 ). God will protect Jerusalem with His mighty power, using thunder, earthquake, and devouring fire to destroy the enemy forces (Isaiah 29:6 ).
