Isa 39:8 | MHM | STEP | v. 8 : Hezekiah accepted God’s warning and correction. He did not argue, but said, Good is the word of the Lord . True repentance means being willing to be corrected and to accept the results, knowing God is fair and just. v. 9 : Hezekiah was thankful that there would be peace and truth in my days (Isaiah 39:8 ). While we should care about the future, we can still be grateful when God gives us peace in our own time, and we must always be ready for whatever changes God allows.
