Isa 58:14 | MHM | STEP | v. 14 : When we honor the sabbath, God promises great blessings. Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord (Isaiah 58:14 ). God will give us joy in our relationship with him. He will also give us honor, raising us up as he did for Israel when he brought them out of Egypt (Deuteronomy 32:12–13 ). God will feed us with the blessings he promised to Jacob, meaning we will experience his goodness both now and in the future. We can trust these promises, because the mouth of the Lord has spoken it . Those who keep the sabbath this way are truly blessed.
