Jer 11:22 | MHM | STEP | v. 22–23 : God announces His judgment on the men of Anathoth. He says, “Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine” (Jeremiah 11:22 ). There will be no survivors left; their destruction will be complete (Jeremiah 11:23 ). This is their punishment for trying to destroy Jeremiah and disobeying God. God’s justice is fair, and He will make sure those who plot evil do not escape His judgment (Lamentations 4:9 ).
