Jer 3:5 | MHM | STEP | v. 5 : God wants the people to trust in His mercy. He asks, “Will he reserve his anger forever?” ( Jeremiah 3:5 ). God does not stay angry forever. Even when people do evil, He is ready to show compassion when they turn back to Him. However, some people pretend to repent while still doing wrong. It is not enough to say the right words. God wants true change in our hearts and lives (John 8:44 ).
