Jeremiah 31:15
v. 15: There is also recognition of pain. "A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rachel weeping for her children refused to be comforted, because they were not". When the people were taken captive, there was great sorrow, especially from mothers who lost their children. This grief was so deep that it seemed there could be no comfort.
