Jeremiah 31:29
v. 29-30: God says that people will no longer complain about being punished for their ancestors’ sins. "They shall say no more, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge"(Jeremiah 31:29 a). From now on, everyone will be responsible for their own actions. Each person who sins will face the consequences for themselves. Sin always brings bitterness in the end, just like eating sour grapes sets the teeth on edge.
