Jer 31:31 | MHM | STEP | v. 31-32 : God promises a new covenant with His people. "Behold, the days come... that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah" (Jeremiah 31:31 ). This new covenant will not be like the old one made when God brought them out of Egypt, which they broke even though God was like a faithful husband to them. This new covenant is about grace and forgiveness, and it is fulfilled in Jesus Christ (Hebrews 8:8-9 ).
