Job 10:21-22
v. 21–22: Job concludes, “Before I go to the place from which I shall not return, to the land of darkness and the shadow of death, a land as dark as darkness itself, as the shadow of death, without any order, where even the light is like darkness.” (Job 10:21-22 a). Job describes the grave as a place of total darkness and disorder. He feels that death is near and views it with dread, even though it might mean an end to his suffering.
